riverbank community hub
integrated
space
Riverbank Community Hub provides a streamlined educational experience for up to 580 students by integrating two existing primary schools, an early years facility and bookable community rooms into one space. Designed as a focal point for the community, the building is positioned prominently on an elevated location in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
internal & external
The comprehensive range of signs we manufactured and installed at Riverbank Community Hub include external post and panel signs, flat cut text, door signs, wayfinding, window manifestations, wall graphics and fire action signage.
The importance of signage in schools extends beyond directionality, playing a significant role in safety, discipline, and community building. In case of emergencies, well-placed signs can lead to safe evacuation routes, ensuring the safety of everyone.

design
Our in-house design team produced artwork based on designs provided by NORR Architects according to the specification and suitability of each type, advising on colours, fixings and sign locations. The designs incorporate materials that complement the steel heritage of the neighbourhood.
Our design manager drew up each individual sign as per the specification agreed showing the materials to be used, colour references, specification, size and the location for installation. The drawings were submitted to the client for approval prior to manufacture commencing and were also used during installation to ensure accuracy of fitting placement regarding sign location and heights within the building.
leading the way
